New Beginning in 2006:  50% Deposit required (see below)

Usually in the fall, we have bantams & standards that we can offer to the fancy. Prices range from $35 per bird to $100. I have occasionally sold show winners, but that would be a matter of correspondence. Our Cochin Bantams are priced at $50 per bird. Marans are priced at $35-50.   Obviously we do ship... through the US Postal Service. We have been shipping using the USPS for years with excellent results. You must use a special box (approved by the PO) which are $15, $20, or $25 depending on size (based on the number of birds shipped). I have a supply of these boxes. You can put up to 6 adult bantams in a large box. The cost of shipping is very reasonable... ranging from $35 to $60 again depending on the number of birds shipped. I try to ship on Mondays. Transit time is either next day or 2nd day depending on your zip code. Typically if I ship Monday, you will receive your birds either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning.

Cochins:  We sell only adult birds. It is my philosophy to sell only birds that I would breed from. I prefer to wait until the young stock develops to make sure they are of quality. We ship most of our birds from September through November, depending on the weather.

Regarding deposits:

Unfortunately, I had in 2005 a number of "buyers" who ordered birds from us and then when ready to ship reneged on their order. As a trusting individual, this bothers me greatly. Beginning in 2006 I am forced to require a 50% non-refundable deposit on all ordered birds to guarantee a place for you on the list of your chosen color (s) and breeds. It simply shows me good faith on your part. If, of course, I am unable to ship the birds you desire, I will promptly refund your deposit.

My wife and I also have a "Nutrition  Business" located here in South China. If you are interested in the Number #1  "Total Nutrition Program" ... call Sharon 207-445-2315. It could change your life!  Go to: www.simplymainestuff.com

The reason I mention our Nutrition business, is that we have the capability to accept both Visa and MasterCard. Recently, many of our birds have been purchased this way.  We also accept Money Orders and Personal Checks.

Even if you choose not to obtain any birds from us at the present time, I am always here to try to answer any poultry or pigeon questions you may have.

Let me know if I can help and whether you purchase birds from us or not... my advise is to "always buy the best you can afford"...

Best of Luck!!!
